INDIA DAY 2019 is approaching fast. The success of an event of such magnitude can only be made possible with the support of the Upstate community. IAG welcomes the community members to come forward and make a contribution, however small it maybe, that would go a long way in  helping shape the success of this event.

We have several positions open for volunteering. This is an awesome opportunity for youngsters to get volunteering hours.

We are reaching out to you to go ahead and register for the entertainment section. This is an awesome opportunity for each and everyone of you to showcase your talents and represent the diverse and rich culture.

DATE/TIME: AUGUST 24TH, 2019, 9:00 AM TO 10:00 PM
50 West Broad Street, Downtown Greenville, Greenville, SC 29601

On behalf of the Upstate Indian community, India Association of Greenville (IAG) is very excited and proud to announce an upscale and prestigious event “INDIA DAY”, in the picturesque Downtown Greenville on Saturday, August 24th, 2019. This coincides with India’s Independence Day celebrations. We expect upwards of 8,000 visitors to grace this occasion.

This event will showcase the unique traditions, culture, and cuisines of modern day India, with a keen eye on its glorious heritage. Visitors will get an opportunity to experience a glimpse of India, right here in the upstate. The objective of this event is to entertain and educate via interactive exhibits, artistic expression and performances, highlighting the diverse cultures in India.

IAG, being a volunteer driven organization depends on support and contribution from members of the community, such as yourselves. As you may understand, an event of this magnitude, which aims to support local and international charities like ‘St. Judes Childrens Hospital’, ‘Vision Express’ and ‘Vedic Center Of Greenville’, whilst bridging cultures, needs tremendous philanthropic support.

We invite you to be a part of this exclusive event.
